Two passenger planes, a UTair ATR 72 and a SKOL Yak-40, crashed in the Russian city of Surgut after the ATR 72 started moving while undergoing maintenance.
The ATR-72 (VQ-BLJ) was undergoing maintenance with its engine on at Surgut Airport when it rolled forward and collided with a stored Yak-40 (RA-87340) on April 1.
Both aircraft sustained serious mechanical damage, but no one was injured during the incident as neither had passengers or crew members on board.
The Ural Investigative department and the airline Utair organized an inspection after the collision. Law enforcers have reportedly examined the scene of the incident along with both aircraft.

Reports from the Ural Investigative Directorate for Transport stated that the UTair aircraft suffered a breakdown of the braking system and began rolling forward.
The UTair ATR 72, with registration VQ-BLJ, was delivered to the airline back in August 2011 and is currently 9.7 years old.
